Permalink Today’s lunch!
It’s a chicken again, but roasted this time.. and since i’m a huge fan of onion and all-things-fried, as a side dish.. crispy fried onion rings (actually it didn’t look like ring cos i wanted it to be long and curly.) it is! … and again, simple salad (i made it different this time, instead of using onion i use shallot which is sweeter but less tangy.)
Pic taken with ipod, brightened it up a bit with psd.

My fave ingredients so far.. (and counting)

  1. Onion!
Caramelize, batter and fry it, or even fresh, i will eat them!
  2. Garlic.
It gives an extra delicacy to your savory dish. Don’t throw in hot oil too long cos it will get browny fast and taste bitter.. but if you don’t put in oil long enough it will taste raw and.. tangy. But garlic is healthy.. so, yeah!
  3. Garlic powder.
I’m a Garlic maniac, so after using garlic, i use lots of garlic powder, too. It’s just like my secret ingredients that works like magic :)
  4. Herbs.
It’s hard to get fresh herbs in my country but dried herbs are okay. Use lots of herbs to get your savory dish up to next level! and… i learned that herbs goes along well with olive oil!
  5. Lime juice.
    loveeeee love loveeeee <3

Will cook again really soonnnnn!

I’ve been making this dish for years, and it’s been a dish that everybody simply loves.
What’s inside? Smoked beef, caramelized onion, cheese and homemade bolognaise sauce. It goes so well with the coleslaw, i tell you!

Hello from my kitchen!

Hello!

I love food. I love eating. I eat a lot, like, a lot.
But it took years for me to finally realize that I love cooking as well!

I’m trying to push myself to cook at least one dish a day.. and then have it photographed so by looking at the pictures, I can remember they joy of cooking for the ones I love.

This will be a cooking diary of mine. This will be a happy journal! <3
